Believing in the role of women in the society and on the urgent need for gender balance AODI shall serve to promote activities to empower the girl child and women in general while campaigning against gender-based violence and promoting gender balance, education for the girl child, equal opportunity for girls with their male counterparts among others.
AODI will within its power ensure that no girl child anywhere in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large will be shortchanged for being a female. AODI believes that every girl child should be able to aspire to be anything in life including aspiring to be the number one citizen of her country. To this end, AODI will lead series of campaigns and activities to empower women including special education project to ensure that every female child has the same opportunity as the male counterpart to acquire quality education irrespective of region, economic, and social status.
